The only game that I really must be able to run on this laptop is Flight Simulator X - Deluxe Edition (which follows the listed system requirements).

It ejects properly. When I put a known good CD in the drive, the computer just freezes. I need to power cycle. This is very consistent. Other than this CD drive problem, the computer continues to behave properly.
Any ideas on further troubleshooting would be appreciated.
